Thanks to all of those that participated in this year’s “Stuff a Truck” holiday turkey drive. Employees, customers and vendors really pulled together, and because of this generosity Thurston Foods has decided to match each turkeydonation, for a total of almost 400 turkeys going to those in need. We will be continuing to collect donations through the upcoming Christmas holiday.

For Thanksgiving this year, Thurston Foods is holding its 2nd annual Turkey Drive, in conjunction with the foodbank. Times are tough, but every little bit helps, and we are looking to get everyone involved in helping us “Stuff-a-Truck” with turkeys. We are asking employees, customers, and vendors alike to all pitch in and give what they can. With just a $20 donation, we will be able to provide a Thanksgiving turkey to someone in need.

Please help to spread the word. An item number has been set up for “donation turkeys”, so that customers can simply be billed on their invoice. It is ITEM #99861, and anyone can give cash or a check, just make sure that it gets to Kristin, or Meg. We are looking to have all donations in by November 21st,
